Providing a Catholic education for all who are seeking it is part of the mission of St. Paul High School. Assisting families with affording the cost of a Catholic education is vital in that plan. We realize that tuition and fees are an investment in our youth and the future. Paying tuition requires sacrifice and the goal of providing assistance to our families is to help minimize that. Returning families are required to submit new paperwork for the new year. Renewal of assistance is not guaranteed but the completed paperwork will assist in providing assistance again.
There are two programs for financial assistance at St. Paul. We are proud to partner with the Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) of Los Angeles in providing the opportunity for tuition assistance for families who are eligible. The second program is the financial assistance program offered by St. Paul High School.
The application for assistance through either of the two programs requires completing and submitting the CEF application along with all necessary supporting documents. Families hoping to be considered for assistance from St. Paul High School are required to submit the CEF application and supporting documents along with the required information in the St. Paul High School Financial Assistance Packet. Some families are eligible for both programs.
Assistance files for aid from St. Paul High School are reviewed only for those students who have registered for the 2021-2022 school year. Applications for those not registered will be set aside and only processed once the registration fee is paid delaying the process and possibly affecting providing assistance based on the pool of assistance still available.
The deadline is January 5, 2021 for submission to the CEF.
The deadline for assistance from St. Paul High School is on a rolling basis but the first round of assistance packets submitted by March 30, 2021 will be reviewed first. Assistance applications will be reviewed until the pool is exhausted. Payment of tuition and fees is calendared to begin in July affording families the opportunity to pay tuition in 11 installments.
The Quick Guide provided is to help ensure the maximum opportunity to avail of one or both of the programs.
