Students will learn to summarize, represent and interpret both single-variable and two-variable categorical and quantitative variables. They will be able to create and interpret the graphs and models of these data. They will learn how to make inferences, and justify their conclusions by understanding survey design, sampling, and the difference between observational studies and experiments. When studying experiments, they will learn how random processes affect their outcomes.
