Swordsmen Golf Classic- In Memory of Tom Klemens '68 Raises Record $52,482

On Monday, May 15th, 2017, golfers teed off at St. Paul High School’s Swordsmen Golf Classic- In Memory of Tom Klemens ’68 at Black Gold Golf Club in Yorba Linda, CA. It was a record breaking event with a golfer attendance of 148 and with 208 in total attending dinner. 

The tournament raised a record breaking total of $52,482, making it a $12,253 increase in profit from last year’s event. Golfers had the opportunity to purchase auction items and participate in the helicopter ball drop, which sold more than 3,000 golf balls.

All of the profits from the tournament benefit the athletic facilities and programs of St. Paul.

This community-building event was made possible by the many alumni, parents, supporters, , businesses, families and friends that gave of their time, talent and treasure to ensure a successful and profitable event.  This event was further made possible by the sponsors, donors and golfers who pledged their support to the students and sports programs of St. Paul High School.
