Parent Volunteer Opportunities

St. Paul High School is fortunate to host six home varsity football games this season (8/28, 9/18, 9/25, 10/9, 10/16-Homecoming, and 10/23). We are in need of parents/adult family members to volunteer for various types of service at these games.

GAME SECURITY- We need about 15-20 people to volunteer as security for the game stationed at various locations on campus and in the stadium Volunteers are needed from about 5pm until the end d the game. For the parking lot, we need about 5 people to work from about 5pm until halftime when we stop charging admission to park. If you are interested in doing ALL of your service hours with this service, please attend the security meeting in the school library on Thursday, August 20th at 7pm. Please contact Tony Shasha, Director of Parent Game Supervision, at (562) 335-9289 or at

SNACK BAR- For years we have had delicious burgers and hot dogs served at the snack bar along with pizza from Pizzamania. We are fortunate that Mr. Miller and the parents from the Girls Basketball Team have manned the snack bar for the past six years. They have volunteered to work the snack bar even though none of the proceeds goes to their program. They need your help. If you are looking to fulfill service hours and want to meet other parents, please contact Debbie Shasha and volunteer. Debbie can be reached by email Mrs. Debbie Shasha at Volunteers are needed from 5pm until about 10pm.

MERCHANDISE-The Swordsmen Store will be selling apparel and school merchandise at all home games. We are in need of a few more volunteers. If you can work from 5pm until we put everything away after the third quarter ends, please email Mrs. Mary Anderson at
